The Cooler The Water, The Better For Your Skin

Hot water stimulates sweat glands. If they are overly stimulated by constant hot water usage, they can lose their ability to produce hydration when needed. As we age we need more moisture for our skin.  Consequently, lubricating glands (sweat & oil glands) will work overtime and may lose control maintaining your skin’s proper balance.  You may think you’ve washed away that greasy look with hot water, only for it to reappear several hours later. So cooler is better.
